I'm doing my second playthrough on the easiest difficulty now and I have to say that I'm having much more fun. Anyway, I've already beaten the game once on Bring it on difficulty, but encounter design leads me to not want to try the higher difficulties. I consider my canon playthrough to be with Fargus, but I'm currently doing a non-cannon playthrough now with Wyatt (I still don't enjoy him nearly as much so far). I didn't buy the season pass but I hope to hear good things, I'd love a chance to revisit this world pretty soon and see things unfold even further. Overall, feels like a rock solid 8/10 for me. Stealth works well in Wolf2 but I feel like it really bogs down the pace, especially since I like the story so much and was constantly eager to get to the next big story beat. Later in the game, when I finally felt confident enough to handle most things just guns blazing, I started actually having a better time playing that way rather than my usual stealth habits. It wasn't at all bad, but there were sections where I got a bit frustrated with the vague sense of direction in some of the levels. I will say that I come away from the game feeling like the gameplay was the weakest point, even if it was perfectly competent.

I think I made it about halfway through New Order. To note, I have had New Order since a few months after it came out (I think I grabbed it for 39.99 on its first Steam sale the same year it came out), but I never finished it. I was absolutely in love with the story and characters. Not sure which story I liked better, but I'll give New Order the slight edge overall because the gameplay was fresher when I played that. Reach was boosted by co-op quite a bit too. Other than Doom, the wolfenstein games have probably been the most fun shooter campaigns we've had since Halo Reach.

Almost like Hotline: Miami or geometry wars in a way. Running forward at all times and shooting what I came across worked very well for me.

Could run and gun through all the levels no problem. Once I had the heavier rifle upgraded to single shot and armor piercing I found it mostly easy. Rest of the game was a good challenge on that difficulty. One was a very short fight too, so it was only 10 minutes probably. Not sure why people are having so much trouble with it? I had 2 fights that were kind of frustrating at the end of the game, but they only took me 4 or 5 tries tops. Once you’ve done that, you can head to the districts table behind you, where you’ll see a map of the US, and you will be able to head to a district to take out the high-ranking enemy.įor more tips, tricks, and guides for Wolfenstein 2, check back with Twinfinite.Finished last night in 8ish hours on do or die difficulty.
